Reading the Bible in One Year: November Reading

October went well, in terms of keeping up with the readings. I didn't miss a day, and I am finally in the New Testament. I have been looking forward to reading the New Testament for quite some time. I can't believe I am nearing the end of this Bible reading plan already. I have enjoyed it and look forward to seeing how I do in 2024. This year, I wanted to focus only on reading the Bible, but next year, I hope to go more in depth and study the word, as well as to memorize some verses. 30 Things I Am Thankful For

Well, it is the holiday season once again. I can't believe Thanksgiving is here already! This year went by so fast. Since there are 30 days in November, I have decided to make a list of 30 things I am thankful for this year.  This year was a slow year for me, but there were some things that happened, that I am so very thankful for! What I am thankful for this year: My family (which includes my cats) My friends (one of whom helped me start my journey of deepening my faith, and my relationship with God) Joni and Friends Journaling My faith My home Music Clean running water Having clothes to wear Electricity Food to eat Books Thrift stores My bike My local library Puzzles Nature My violin My ukulele My guitar Knitting Crochet Painting Photography Baking Central air on hot and humid days Warm baths/showers God The Bible Prayer There is more that I am thankful for, of course, but I didn't want this post to be too long!
