30 Things I Am Thankful For in 2024

Well, it's the holiday season once again.

Once again, I have decided to make a list of things that I am grateful for. It helps me to see all that I have, and all that I am able to do in my life.

For a few years, I struggled with enjoying the holidays, as I was dealing with grief, but now I enjoy the holidays again (albeit still with some grief). I am looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas this year and can't wait to see what they hold for me and my family and friends.

Here is what I am thankful for this year:
  1. My family
  2. My friends
  3. My faith
  4. My home
  5. My health
  6. Joni and Friends
  7. My library's creative studio
  8. Being able to make a garden flag in my library's creative studio
  9. My library's home delivery service
  10. Baking
  11. Knitting
  12. Crocheting
  13. Photography
  14. A loved one being able to get better after a health scare
  15. Audiobooks
  16. A librarian at my library doing a presentation on ADHD and autism
  17. My library's Library of Things
  18. Being able to get a new phone when my old one quit working
  19. Get Organized HQ Virtual
  20. Living close to shops/stores/restaurants
  21. My blogs (yes, I have more than one)
  22. Making my first t-shirt quilt
  23. Being able to watch livestreams of church services
  24. Decluttering Christmas decorations that we don't use/are broken/in bad shape
  25. Getting rid of all the expired food in the kitchen (unfortunately, there was a lot)
(I know this is kind of a weird one to be thankful for, but we had a lot of food that had been sitting there for a long time, not being used, and it feels so much better to have it all gone now)
  26. Reusable water bottles
  27. Books
  28. Movies
  29. Music
  30. Central air
I am so thankful for all that I have in my life, and for getting through another year with those I love. As well as for all that God has done for me.

If you celebrate, I hope you have a blessed, safe Thanksgiving.
