Reading the Bible in One Year: April Reading (and March Recap)

Well, another month has gone by. Why do the days fly by so fast like that?!

Yet again, I was able to keep up, and read all the passages for March, yet there were times where I didn't want to read the bible.

I pushed through that feeling, and read anyway, and I am so glad I did. I want to keep reading the bible as part of my everyday routine.

Since I am a very shy and introverted person, books have always been a way for me to escape, to feel like I belonged somewhere, and I want to keep reading for as long as I can.

The bible is probably the best place to go, to figure out who I am, where I belong, and a way for me to get through whatever life throws at me.

Anyway, here is the reading for April:

  1. Judges 6-7
  2. Judges 8-9
  3. Judges 19-12
  4. Judges 13-15
  5. Judges 16-18
  6. Judges 19-21
  7. Ruth 1-4
  8. 1 Samuel 1-3
  9. 1 Samuel 4-8
  10. 1 Samuel 9-12
  11. 1 Samuel 13-14
  12. 1 Samuel 15-17
  13. 1 Samuel 18-20, Psalm 11, Psalm 59
  14. 1 Samuel 21-24
  15. Psalm 7, Psalm 27, Psalm 31, Psalm 34, Psalm 52
  16. Psalm 56, Psalm 120, Psalm 140-142
  17. 1 Samuel 25-27
  18. Psalm 17, Psalm 35, Psalm 54, Psalm 63
  19. 1 Samuel 28-31, Psalm 18
  20. Psalm 121, Psalm 123-125, Psalm 128-130
  21. 2 Samuel 1-4
  22. Psalm 6, Psalm 8-10, Psalm 14, Psalm 16, Psalm 19, Psalm 21
  23. 1 Chronicles 1-2
  24. Psalms 43-45, Psalm 49, Psalms 84-85, Psalm 87
  25. 1 Chronicles 3-5
  26. Psalm 73, Psalms 77-78
  27. 1 Chronicles 6
  28. Psalm 81, Psalm 88, Psalms 92-93
  29. 1 Chronicles 7-10
  30. Psalms 102-104
Hopefully I can keep up this streak and read all the passages for this month.

I do expect to have days, not just for April, but for the rest of the year, where I just don't feel like reading, and like I did before, I will push through and get it done. I want to be able to say that I read the whole bible this year.
