My Faith-Based Reading Bucket List for 2024

In February of last year, I decided to get back into reading books (I wanted to mainly read physical books, because I am at a point where I love turning physical pages. For quite some time, I had been listening to audiobooks, which I still love! But, it's time to go back to physical books).

I did well for a few months, and then I ended up getting sick a couple times (a cold in July--I did test for COVID, and it was negative for that, thank God!--and then infections in both ears in September--SO not fun!!).

During the time I didn't have any illnesses, I didn't really have the energy to read much of anything, as all that took it out of me. But I was slowly getting back into the swing of things and was able to read more and more.

Hopefully I can read more this year, and not get sick, or at least have more energy to read, as I love books and reading.

Here is my faith-based reading bucket list for 2024:
  • Through a Season of Grief: Devotions for Your Journey from Mourning to Joy by Bill Dunn and Kathy Leonard

  • Heaven: Your Real Home...From a Higher Perspective by Joni Eareckson Tada

  • Beside Bethesda: 31 Days Toward Deeper Healing by Joni Eareckson Tada

  • Have You Felt Like Giving Up Lately? Hope & Healing When You Feel Discouraged by David Wilkerson

  • Humility: The Journey Towards Holiness by Andrew Murray

  • You're Not Enough (and That's Okay) by Allie Beth Stuckey

  • Mere Christianity by C. S. Lewis

  • More Than a Carpenter by Josh D. McDowell and Sean McDowell

  • Live on Purpose: 100 Devotions for Letting Go of Fear and Following God by Sadie Robertson Huff

  • Gentle and Lowly: The Heart of Christ for Sinners and Sufferers by Dane C. Ortlund

  • Friendship with God: Discover God's Relational Presence and Receive Peace, Identity, and Purpose for Your Life by Jamie Moore

  • The Purpose Driven Life: What on Earth Am I Here For? by Rick Warren

What Christian/faith-based books do you want to read this year? I hope to read at least half of the books on this list this year.
