My 2023 Faith Bucket List

One of my favorite things to do is to make lists (I don't know why, but I just love lists!!), so I figured why not make a faith-based bucket list?

I want to do things that bring me closer to God, and that strengthen my faith. I am a very shy, reserved person, so I want to step out of my comfort zone, and do the things I really want to do, especially when it comes to my faith.

I would love to be able to do as many things on this list as possible this year, but if I only do a few of them, that is fine with me. I don't want to over-burden myself, nor do I want to burn out. I want to do what I can.

So, in no particular order, here is my bucket list for 2023:

  • Read the bible every day (and read the entire bible in one year)
  • Learn to pray better, and pray every day
  • Read one Christian book a month
  • Be an STM at a Joni and Friends retreat
  • Have quiet time every day
  • Listen to Christian podcasts
  • Create faith based art
  • Go to a Christian concert
  • Read a devotional book
  • Attend at least one Christian/faith-based event
  • Take prayer walks
  • Sponsor a child in need
  • Spend a day alone with God
  • Feed the hungry
  • Go on a mission trip
  • Purchase a rosary
  • Find my spiritual gift and use it
  • Make a will
  • Learn to play Christian songs on the violin
  • Write in a prayer journal regularly
  • Learn about other religions
  • Spend a day alone with God
  • Get back into participating in my church's prayer shawl ministry
  • Regularly journal my faith/spiritual journey
If you are religious/spiritual, whare are some faith-related things you would like to do this year?
